| Alright so I have kinda been down about feeling like a failure since leaving the HA. I found this verse today. For consider your calling, brothers:not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong God chose what is low and despised int he world, even things that are not , to bring to nothing things that are So remember your goals and even if you are working fast food, as a secretary, a boring job that seems unrelated to God remember to tithe and to use yourself where you are. You can still change the world even if you aren't fixing a crisis of a missionary in peru or leading 30 teenagers. Keep going I just started having real quiet times again and I have to start somewhere. | | |
| So here's what happens.. you leave the honor academy and then you stop blogging and I have several speculations. A. You release its time to grow and not live on the internet B. You go from being some super amazing person sending kids around the world to living in your grandparents basement and life isn't quite as fun to write aboutC. You see what you've become and you don't want anyone to know D. Your pretty confident no one reads the thing cause you get like one comment saying merry christmas. E. Several of the above. Jason has been gone for work for a couple of days. I get to go to a BeautiControl party thing tomorrow and I am so excited I have been waiting all month! The do not sell the newest casting crowns CD in walmart even though it is fantastic. | | |
| We are no longer youth directors, so I dont know what they are doing this Wednesday. They said we didnt have the same vision as the church. We have to move out by jan 1, so I think we are going to move in with my grandparents so that we can go to Peru. The first youth we told was Nicole we went out to eat and she worked there and she kept talking to us about youth group and finally we had to tell her and then she said she wasnt going anymore. There should be the same workers though, so hopefully they don't feel to wierd. They all have small group leaders too, so that should help. Needless to say I didnt see that one coming. I am still currently employed as the secretary here, but we are going to go to other churches, we have been setting through frustration for monthes, so that should be fun. | Life update. I started selling beautcontrol with my friend Whitney. So we'll see how that goes. My dog is a total fruitcake, she likes to eat everything. My mom came by today and I gave her the spa in a bag that you can try in a day. I have several coke rewards, we are trying to redo the youth group room and we already got one homedepot card and we are working on more. Oh yeay I am going to a Jeremy Camp concert tonight, so score. Being married is so cute. Jason last night was like I don't know how I can hate you the most and love you the most, but I don't hate you and I cry and we hug and it's a touching moment. I love him. We officially bought plane tickets to Las Vegas to see his side this Christmas. I haven't seen my niece yet, but I buy her an abundance of clothes. I am trying this diet thing and it works, but I just eat little amounts and I still have a half hour before I go on lunch and I'm about to eat my lipgloss. There is a place that is going to begin in our area with financial help with adoptions and I am trying to get involved in that. This Sunday is supposed to be the Sunday that they vote whether they would like to keep us or not. I think we'll be okay. I am going to lunch with my stepmom today, well I do that every Thursday. Tomorrow, we are having an afterschool thing at the church. So please pray for that. We are doing pickup from the middle school and sent out a couple of permission slips, we have people making BBQ, bringing chips, we have water, theres a scavenger hunt, guitar hero tournament, you know I just really home that they can see Christ here and that I am someone that Christ can speak through to these kids.
